IMTC-MEI Update on Lviv Airport Reconstruction Project; Partnership with Global Enterprises International
The reconstruction and subsequent operation of the Lviv Airport will be undertaken by a partnership between IMTC-MEI, LLC, a subsidiary of Crown Enterprises of Louisiana, United States and Global Enterprises International, of Florida United States. The management team will be led by IMTC-MEI, LLC with its Headquarters in Bratislava Slovakia and Kyiv Ukraine.
Negotiating the final agreement with the Government of Ukraine should be completed within the next two weeks. After an agreement is signed we will engage supporting firms to assist us in completing the airport reconstruction. We are hopeful that the following will constitute the reconstruction team:
- Support Engineering by Grisham Smith Partners
- Operation Consultants are Seabury Aviation
- Construction Management by Clark International
Major US and European firms will be utilized to work with Local Companies to make the project economical, clear and transparent.
Budget to be funded primarily by US ExIm Bank and private Investors for $185 million with additional programs of EBRD and IFC in discussion.
The Program will utilize US, European, and local equipment and materials. Local contractors and best international technologies will be used.
The objective of the Program is to develop Lviv Airport as a major point of destination not just for Euro 2012, but the next 30 years.
The partnership is investing and will lead operational and modernization support to make the facility a truely high class destination that will be the pride of Lviv and Ukraine.
